Turbovents is a product of Sun Ind International, the pioneers of wind driven ventilation in India. Sun Ind International was established by Mr S Jaikumar in 1995 to further the pioneering spirit in industrial ventilation that began with the parent company Metcon Engineers. Metcon Engineers was ranked as the leader in the field of specialized fabrication and welding for a variety of industries and defense establishments. We excelled in the development of indigenous equipment viable for our conditions that substituted costly imported equipment. We also specialized in manufacturing equipment out of exotic materials such as special steels, titanium etc.
On a constant lookout for new technologies and excellence, we soon developed Turbovents; a proudly 100% Indian product capable of standing up to and even outperforming imported roof ventilators. Sun Ind International was formed to cater to the development of this revolutionary product. We had also realized after seeing industries abroad that had already utilized roof ventilators that just putting up ventilators did not provide optimum results and in some cases worsened the situation. The solution for this was to carefully study and understand the entire process and working environment before suggesting the need for a ventilation system and the exact ventilation system required. Hence we came up with not just a ventilator but a ventilation solution that used roof ventilators to provide you with comfort levels that did not affect your process or your equipment adversely and at the same time gave maximum efficiency for the given conditions. Thus getting a cleaner environment became an economical, easier and greener task.
